Harnessing the Power of Water

The Vanquish Water Vapor Ablation System offers a less invasive alternative for men looking to target their localized, low-to-intermediate risk prostate cancer while reducing the potential impact to their quality of life.

How It
Works

The Vanquish System is an outpatient, minimally invasive procedure that harnesses the energy stored in water vapor (steam) to ablate cancerous prostate tissue.

The Vanquish device is inserted into the urethra and is advanced to the prostate.

A small needle-shaped catheter is then deployed from the device and moved to the targeted cancerous tissue.

The physician then delivers multiple treatments to destroy the tissue within the target location. Steam may also be delivered to areas around the cancerous tissue (margin) to ensure full ablation of the targeted tissue.
