January 8, 2025: Francis Medical raises record $80M in Series C to fund its VAPOR 2 study and U.S. launch of Vanquish, its proprietary prostate cancer treatment
September 15, 2021: Francis Medical today announced the completion of the company’s $55.0 million Series B equity financing. The company plans to use the Series B proceeds to fund the development of its proprietary prostate cancer treatment through FDA 510(k) approval, which includes a pivotal clinical study (VAPOR 2) for the management of prostate cancer, scheduled to begin enrollment in August 2022
The Vanquish® Water Vapor Ablation System has been cleared as a tool for the thermal ablation of targeted prostate tissue via a transurethral approach. The FDA has not evaluated the Vanquish System for the treatment of any disease, including prostate cancer, or evaluated the Vanquish System for any long-term prostate cancer treatment outcomes.
