For the past 20 years, he has led companies in the urology space, including AMS and NxThera (acquired by Boston Scientific), culminating with his role as President and Chief Executive Officer at Francis Medical.

Mr. Hoey founded NxThera in 2008 to develop and commercialize urology applications of the vapor platform technology that he invented. Rezum, the initial use for benign prostatic hyperplasia, was acquired by Boston Scientific in 2018. Mr. Hoey then founded Francis Medical to develop the technology for prostate cancer.

Dr. Dixon has over 25 years of experience as a urologist. His practice has spanned a variety of clinical settings, including academia, private practice, and large, hospital-based systems. Additionally, Dr. Dixon has been involved in multiple landmark clinical trials in urology. His experiences are instrumental in developing water vapor technology at Francis Medical.
